State of Rossland – Identifying Indicators of Community Sustainability for Rossland, British Columbia

In 2009 and 2010, FACT worked closely with the City of Rossland Sustainability Commission to develop a suite of indicators to monitor community sustainability and the City’s implementation of their Strategic Sustainability Plan (available at www.visionstoaction.ca). The indicator selection process was community-driven and involved a number of opportunities for interested parties to learn and contribute. The resulting indicators will be reported on a State of Rossland website and incorporated into Rossland’s ongoing planning efforts.
